How to Use the Savings Goal Calculator
Enter the total amount you would like to save.
Enter the amount you have already saved for your goal.
Enter the annual interest rate or rate of return that you expect to receive. For example, if you have a savings account that pays 3%, you would enter “3” as the growth rate.*
Enter the number of years you have until you need the money.
Hit “Submit” to find out how much you would need to save each day, month, or year.
*If the interest rate declines, you will need to increase the amount you save in order to stay on track. It’s better to be conservative in estimating your annual interest rate.
